The water efficiency label will look similar to the energy rating label already seen on appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers. The more dark blue stars are filled in, the better the appliance is at using less water while achieving a good result. The stars represent a range of efficiency and an extremely efficient product can get six stars, while three is about average for most types of products. The labels also show a water consumption or water flow figure.
