Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that it is World Water Week at the moment. World Water Week is designed to highlight issues of water sustainability and aims to help link water science, policy and decision making.
So while a bunch of important government and academic types are earnestly discussing water over in Scandinavia, it's a good time to think about how lucky we are here in New Zealand (and the western world) to have access to clean and drinkable water. This video from Good magazine does a great job of showing how important water is to our precious world, and how we often take it for granted.

I suppose World Water Week is designed to coincide with late summer in the northern hemisphere. Right now I just wish it would stop raining. :(
