My name is Heather Chisholm and I am a graduate student in the Rural Planning and Development program at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. As a student in this program I am analyzing the benefits and costs of alternative stormwater management projects, specifically rain gardens. I am writing to see if you would be interested in assisting me with my research by completing a short survey, either online or over the telephone, on a rain garden project with which you have been involved. The results of the survey will be kept strictly confidential and under no circumstances will you be identified or identifiable, while the information you provide will assist in developing a greater understanding of the opportunities to establish rain gardens in my case study location.
