I'm surprised there is no information on motorbikes and scooters on this site, even in the section on alternative forms of transport. As a single-occupant vehicle solution (for those of us who need more flexibility than public transport can provide) a small motorbike or scooter is ideal. My 250cc single cylinder 4-stroke bike costs about $14 to fill and goes at least 200km on a tank (in stop-start commuter traffic). I'm aware that total fuel consumption is not the only measure of environmental impact, and I would love to see some information on emissions for motorbikes and scooters so I can better guage my total environmnetal footprint. Any ideas where I can look?
