How to green your technology

Here's a neat little article I found from Netguide magazine on 'Greening your technology'. It has got some great ideas on both how to save money when using your computer and other gadgets, as well as how to be more environmentally responsible with them – all the way from purchase to disposal.

Anyone else out there got some good ideas or links on how to green your tech?

Keep your electronics out of landfills at all cost. One option is to take back program. All of these are better than your trash can. Recycling electronics is important, but only if they no longer work. Consider options that will reuse this technology again and keep it out of the waste stream.

Green your technology!!!!!!!!!

We need to use our electronic or computer gadgets where they don't create a pollution. THere should not be any leakage in the electronic waves, current and magneti leakage. The electronic waste needs to be disposed carefully in the trash can. Thanks for this post...Looking more from this information.

A lot things could be recycled instead that going to landfill. I agree that taking control is one best method instead of buying bulk. In order to encourage ourselves we have to buy pre-loved or recycled products. Remember your trash could be someone else treasure. Let us together help the environment and make a big difference.

There are a lot of technologies out there that will help you save electricity. Smart power strips are also a great way to save money by eliminating phantom power. And cutting down on how much energy your computer uses is easy.

Electronic equipment is more efficient today than it ever has been and will continue to do so as more attention is being focused on energy efficiency.
