The Big Shwop returns to Wellington!
The Big Shwop is an exciting social event that provides an opportunity for women to recycle and reuse their clothes while still remaining fashionable. Organizers describe the concept of 'shwopping' as "an event that brings people and their wardrobes together for an afternoon of shopping that won't made a dent on their bank accounts or their conscience".
$10 entry fee - includes a glass of wine and a Trilogy beauty product. Numbers are limited so pre-register on the Big Shwop website
Pre-registrations close on Friday 30th October 2009 at 6pm.
Where: St James Theatre in the heart of downtown Wellington.
15% of all profit will be donated to The Fair Trade Foundation. All the un-shwopped clothes at the end of each event are donated to some great causes to share the love even further.
